How do I get started?

A good start only requires a few steps. Our website is designed so you can enroll online and start your learning right away. Go to the section “The Program”, click on the product and “add to cart”. Follow the steps and once your payment is completed you will receive a confirmation email from the Body Language Academy with a password to get started. Your username will be your email. Can I buy multiple enrollments?

Yes you can by sending an email to: contact@jnbodylanguageacademy.com. We recommend you enrol via the webpage if you are one individual, but if you want to enroll a group of students, a management team or a corporate unit please contact us. Each enrollment is locked to individual, so it is not possible to share.

Can I give an enrollment as a gift?

Yes, an enrollment makes a wonderful gift to your friends, family, colleagues and/or employees. To purchase an enrollment as a gift please send an email to: contact@jnbodylanguageacademy.com. We are always happy to help.

How do I get a refund?

Once your payment is confirmed your purchase is binding. However, we offer a free demo that gives you a teaser of the training before you enroll. Go to the home page to sign-up for the free demo and you will be able to take a look at the training style. If any questions please send an email to contact@jnbodylanguageacademy.com. Does it work on my tablet or phone?

With the Body Language Academy, you can access the training anywhere and anytime on most devices – PC, tablet and smartphone. Each enrollment is locked to the individual but works across multiple platforms. For the best experience we do recommend using a device with a larger screen, so that you can make the most of images and videos you will be asked to analyze during the program.

Is there any deadline to complete the program?

No, there is no completion deadline as such. The Body Language Academy is designed to fit your time and your needs – and you can also pause your training for a period of time. For optimal learning we recommend you plan and set aside time e.g. 5 hours per week over a period of time to study and practice, but the pace is up to you. Training is estimated to take up to 3 months part time study (based on an estimate of 3-5 hours study per week, which includes the weekly practical exercises).

You will have access to the learning material in the platform for 3 years when you sign-up for the Body Language Expert program, which includes ample time to complete the training.

Can I stop a video and pick it up later?

Yes, the training is designed for maximum flexibility, which means you can track your training and always pick it up where you left off. You will be able to track your progression and also earn medals along the way. All the while you will be guided, challenged and acknowledged by your teacher Joe Navarro through a unique series of teaching videos designed just for this course.

Will there be any face-2-face training?

No, the Body Language Academy training is online only and will not require any travel. The training can be accessed from anywhere in the world. Joe Navarro will be your instructor through your online learning journey where you will receive introductions, guidance, case stories and inspiration for completing the course.

You will get access to exclusive webinars hosted by Joe Navarro and an opportunity to join a LinkedIn group open only to students and graduates from the program.

You will be assigned a certified Body Language Expert who will be your mentor and make sure you get the most out of your training. The mentor will schedule an initial face-to-face meeting and will be available to you throughout your studies as part of your learning journey.

Will I receive a certificate?

Yes, at the end of the training you will receive a certificate signed by Joe Navarro for completing the Body Language Expert program. The certificate is electronic and will be issued once you have completed all modules and passed the assessments. The certificate is a great way to boost your profile and professional career.

Are there any continuing education (CE) credits available for the program?

The Joe Navarro Body Language Academy has partnered with Specialized Training Services to co-sponsor this program, with 60 CE credits available to approved students upon graduation. Specialized Training Services is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Specialized Training Services maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

Typically LCSW’s, LMFT’s, LPC’s and LMHC’s can receive continuing education training from APA approved providers but there are some exceptions. Please check with your licensing board if there is any question whether credit from an APA approved provider is valid for your license.

We hope to expand the CE credits that are available to other professions in time, so please reach out if there is a particular accreditation you are seeking.

Are there any prerequisites or previous experience needed to sign-up?

No. You can sign-up for the program without any previous experience. The program is designed to challenge students at all levels, from beginner to someone with more advanced skills. Talk to your mentor when you first meet them about what you hope to get from the program.

What is a body language mentor?

The mentors in the Body Language Academy by Joe Navarro have been chosen because of their qualifications, skills and experience in the field of nonverbal communication and body language. The role of the mentor is to guide you through your learning journey becoming a Body Language Expert and make sure you get the most out of your training. If you sign-up for the Body Language program, you will be assigned a personal mentor who will assist you with any questions you may have directly related to the course and guide you through your learning journey.

Support includes an initial face-to-face call (e.g. 30 min online zoom or skype meeting), and then support to you as you work through the Body Language Expert program.

Is there a payment plan available?

We do offer a payment plan for those who do not want to pay for the program up front. The payment plans available are 12 installments of $325 ($3899 in total) every two or four weeks, to spread the cost over time.

Upon enrollment you will get access to the first three learning paths within 24 hours. Three further learning paths will then be released after your 4th, 7th and 10th payments. Choose your preferred payment option (every 2 or 4 weeks) when you enroll and your payments will automatically be deducted.

If you are on a payment plan and want to get access to your learning faster you are welcome to make extra payments – just reach out to us via email (contact@jnbodylanguageacademy.com) or if you want to pay your outstanding balance and receive access to all remaining study material we are happy to offer a 10% discount on your remaining balance.

Do you offer discounts for students?

Yes, we offer a 60% discount for students. If you are a student and would like to take advantage of this offer, please contact us at contact@jnbodylanguageacademy and provide a copy of valid student ID.

Once verified, you will receive a special code to use at checkout to reduced the price or either the pay now or pay over time Expert Program by 60%.

What currency is used and are there credit card fees?

All currency on the website is in US dollars. Please be aware that if paying via credit card your card issuer may charge fees in accordance with their policies, including currency conversion fees involved in any foreign currency conversions. You should check with your card issuer if you are unsure of what charges may apply.

Please note that if paying using a non-US currency based credit card from an issuing bank outside the United States the STRIPE payment system will charge your card in its native currency, which will involve currency conversion using STRIPE rates and any applicable fees at the time of the transaction.

Please note we also offer PayPal as a payment solution, which will provide you with the charge in your local currency when you checkout using PayPal.

When can I start?

Anytime you want! Upon enrolment you are given online access to the course material (in part or in full, depending on your payment method). The course is self-paced, and you are free to start as soon as you want.

How long will it take me to finish the course?

This is up to you, and depends on how many hours you want to study per week. If you study 3-5 hours study per week, we estimate the training will take up to 3 months. Upon signing up, you will have access to the course material for 3 years.

Do I need to enrol on a particular date?

No, you can enrol and begin training whenever you want. Upon enrolment you will be given online access to the course material (in part or in full, depending on your payment method), and you can start your training immediately after.
